Terms of Service

Last updated: 22 October 2026

Please read these terms before you create an account. They set out what you can expect from us and what we expect from you.

1. Accepting these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Provewise. By creating an account or using provewise.com you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What Provewise offers

Provewise is an online practice platform. You can work on Excel, SQL and Power BI problems, complete business case studies, see your results straight away, and track your progress with scores, badges and a leaderboard. Features may change, and we may add, improve or remove content from time to time.

3. Your account

  • You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for your password and for everything that happens under your account. Do not share your login with anyone.
  • If you forget your password you can reset it by email from the sign-in page.
  • Tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account.
  • You may not create accounts by automated means, or create more than one account to gain an unfair advantage on the leaderboard.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone else’s rights when using Provewise;
  • try to gain access to accounts, data or systems that are not yours, or to disrupt, overload or probe the service for weaknesses;
  • use bots, scripts or other automated tools to submit answers, scrape content or collect other learners’ information;
  • cheat to inflate your score, for example by interfering with how answers are checked;
  • copy, publish, resell or share problem sets, answer keys, solutions or other content from Provewise outside the service without our written permission;
  • upload files that contain malware, or content that is unlawful, harmful or abusive;
  • use another person’s name or picture, or a name that is offensive or misleading.

If you find a security problem, please tell us through the Contact us page rather than using it.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the answers, files and messages you submit. You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process and display them as needed to run the service for you, for example to check your answer, show your history and respond to your message. Please only submit work that you have the right to submit, and do not include confidential or personal information about other people.

6. Our content and intellectual property

The Provewise website, design, problems, datasets, case studies, explanations, scoring and software belong to Provewise or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them for your own learning. All other rights are reserved. Names such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI belong to their respective owners; Provewise is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

7. Scores, points and the leaderboard

Points, accuracy, badges and rankings are provided for practice and motivation. We may correct scores, adjust how points are calculated, or remove entries that result from errors, misuse or cheating. A problem you have already solved can be retried for practice, and a practice attempt does not change your points or accuracy.

8. Learning only, no guarantees

Provewise is for practice. We do not promise that using it will result in a job, a promotion, an exam pass or any other outcome. Please read our Disclaimer.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep Provewise available and accurate, but we cannot promise that it will always be uninterrupted or error free. We may change, pause or stop any part of the service, with or without notice, for example for maintenance.

10. Suspension and ending your account

You can stop using Provewise at any time and can ask us to delete your account through the Contact us page. We may suspend or close an account, with or without notice, if you break these Terms, put the service or other users at risk, or if the law requires.

11. Disclaimers and limits of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, Provewise does not give any warranty, express or implied, about the service or its content, and is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or opportunity arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India will have jurisdiction over any dispute that cannot be resolved informally. Please contact us first so we can try to sort things out.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the date at the top of this page, and for important changes we will try to let you know. If you keep using Provewise after a change, you accept the updated Terms.

14. Contact us
